Bear Backers is a dedicated group of parents, alumni and friends who raise money to support ALL Big Bear High School athletes.  

 

Some of the contributions Bear Backers have been able to make over the past few years include:

 

•      Purchasing upholstered chairs for indoor sporting events
•      Refurbishing Training Room, including a new ice machine
•      Funding college scholarships for many BBHS athletes
•      Sponsoring every team with a donation
•      Hosting the Welcome Back Festival

 

Bear Backers create the sports posters for the fall, winter, and spring seasons. These posters are distributed at both sporting and school events.  If you would like to support our athletes by advertising on the poster, please contact Tracy Walton @ 951-741-4069.  This is our biggest fundraiser. The money earned through this advertising allows us to provide our teams with the financial support they need.
