well hello everyone lots of everything that's great yes you guys faces hello there I miss you guys so if you guys haven't figured out we upon entry you have the ability ability to do video but not not do the speaker so intentionally did that so that we we stay on track here and I hope I hope that works for everyone if you have questions when I'm not seeing Apple questions to the chat room and welcome everybody that's here and I know a few of kind of keeps showing up as they do but with that one can I get started first just I'm sure all of you can see their give me four but mostly don't have to talk with you guys myself mrs. Palmer's dr. Suzuki and the shower is here as well so I think on their behalf as well as well come out yet I'm hopefully get some answers I'll see you guys so that you can have an idea what's going to happen the next next few weeks here so with that jumping share screen with you so we can kind of walk through what we put together for you guys on the first thing and I want to tell you the reason I'm going to jump right in as is hopefully it doesn't shut me off but I've been told on Zoom here that I 40 minute. So what if we have longer hopefully we'll have more time for questions Etc thank you for that I'm solutely give me a call cuz I don't think I can admit okay I will thank you sir can you buy strap make sure that you share that with Misses shower hamster share any questions with her okay so on here just so you guys know as well what we're go through today we're going to send out I'll email you all of you this information and then also we plan to mail this home so you have at your parents have a hard copy and can look through this but let's start first with the the cap and gown distribution with YouTube you are going to receive a a bag with a variety things in there which I think will be kind of cool so though this is obviously a very unique year and then not a traditional ceremony I think there will be some kind of fun things that you guys are good experience here so our plan is as you can see here Wednesday sets two weeks from today Wednesday June 3rd between 2 and 6 p.m. we're have a drive-thru style dropped the drop-off Lane on where the buses would go and you will be able to pull in and get your individualized student pack and it's going to have a variety of things in there to include a senior t-shirt which is once I think was our senior advisors was at AFV and and class officers have put that on and any local scholarships awarded so many of you apply for local scholarships and and if you if the organization things are going to provide us that information we will include that in that in that bag it will also be included in your graduate virtual graduation absolutely thank you Miss Palmer and you'll have your cap and gown I'm in if you guys have not ordered cap and gown we will talk about how to do that at the end if we have some time any cords Metals Etc mostly that bcsf by the handful of you guys though how bat invitation and Ashland invitation for the diploma presentation which is mostly what we're going to go over in just a second which will be on graduation regular regularly scheduled graduation day and directions for that's going to look like but again we're going to go over that here in just a second and then the virtual graduation which is going to be our website you guys will be able to have that and again imma give you more details here in about 5 minutes on that and then also in that bag you're going to have mask and gloves which have been or are being produced I think at this point which are kind of neat and those are necessary to wear during the diploma presentation by the graduates so you will have gloves and a mask that are required to to be worn during that so all of that is going to be handed to you again in two weeks from today and you guys can drive we're not getting out of the cars were just going to simply pull the bag your individualized bag and get that to you July to give you a lot of information all right so the graduation diploma presents is as I mentioned on the regularly scheduled June 12th so that's Friday June 12th it is coming earlier than a regular or traditional graduation and it's going to be at 10 starting at 10 in the and we're going to break this up and I'll again I'll explain some more of this to you that we're going to break it up into 10 groups that we've already kind of identified into a groups of about 15 or 20 and you'll have kind of been in assigned time that you will be invited to come and we'll do this diploma presentation so it starts at 10 and and we're at Beaver high school and I'll show you specifically where that'll be all so it will be on Facebook live she got here through the ASP on Facebook and as mrs. Palmer reminded me all of you if you're not already signed up on that you need to you need to make sure that you get Snapchat through the AFC won so you can do that so if he's not friend Big Bear High School ASB please do that ahead of time cuz that's where your Facebook live graduation will be for your diploma presentation thank you so I'm going to read through this with you guys I understand that Altieri just fine but let's make sure we don't miss anything and I'll kind of go through this distinctly those well so graduates and their families will receive an invitation in the senior packet which is what we just talked about it indicates the time they should arrive at the high school on Friday. it's important follow the schedule exactly to prevent a laser confusion so we don't want a group of 50 coming at the same time and then one time slot we only have five people showing up so please please follow that schedule once families of the arrived at the school that remain in their vehicle following the mark processional route around the back of Big Bear High School to the staging area where the diploma presentation will take place I'll show you that in just a minute where that's going to take place their vehicle so just the student just you guys are graduating senior will exit their vehicle as her name is called and you will approach the state's area where where which will be limited to you and misses foamer supper guidelines we ask that you adhere to the following one vehicle per graduate in some of these may sound kind of silly but you can just imagine what might show up so no buses no limousine no motorhomes no trailers no Transit van anything of the sort so I'm one standard vehicle got to be one person for seat belt passengers must be from the immediate family or household even though we just put family on there at the entry staff members will provide you a placard with a number and direct you to line up and not placard please display that on the driver side windshield so that we can see that basically we need to be able to pull the correct. an information for any awards etc for this specific for each of you on the specifics team and in order and I'm in the parking lot official vehicle placard must be presented and their be a graduating senior wearing a cap and gown meaning we don't want just random Vehicles were not going to let random Vehicles come through here and we'll show you what our thought is for anyone that wants to come see it that is not going to be able to go through the process Moline they will be able to go to the student parking lot again I'll show you that and set Rubino and all attendees must stay in their vehicle at all times during the processional and an underline that there's a reason that a lot other school specially LA County. They very events because they have families and students have not abided by this and it's become a social event and so they've been forced to shut down we are requiring that you guys staying vehicle doll time if it's Annie's do not remain in their car they'll be asked to leave also there will be no public restroom during this and then tired of the event so you could be in line for a little while going to the back of the school make sure you use the restrooms before you count and you'll hear that one reiterated a few times as a reminder for you during the procession live a graduating senior and attendees can a vehicle pass for San Bernardino San Bernardino County Public Health Department guidelines those that do not again will be asked to leave it's recommended for every attendee to wear masks so not just the graduate every senior graduate must have a mask and gloves so we will provide you those in that bag but you have to wear those during the diploma presentation we don't have any options on that for those who cannot attend the ceremony will be live so family members Etc who want us to watch will be able to see that on Facebook live as we mentioned earlier the procession that sells the lineup begins at 9:45 so our very first group is going to start at 9:45 so we can get y'all set an inline and ready to go right at 10 I am not to be again by your invitation time and you'll have that assigned placard number so please follow the staff directives we're going to have I'll show you on the map and a second but I think it'll be really neat thing we're in a half staff kind of lining the whole procession Larry around the back of the school as supervisors correct thank you and and I think we have some cool things that that you guys will enjoy every graduating senior and attendees must stay in their car like we mentioned before during the processional there will be no public restroom so make sure you use that before hand walking across hey so when you get to the actual stage when it when it comes to your turn one family member May step out of the vehicle to take photos so you will you as The Graduate will be able to get your diploma during that you will also have your card the information that you would listed on your card reading it'll be read while you're walking up there and doing that one family member may get out and take pictures of you we're going to have kind of a staging area where they are limited to but they are one one person will be allowed to get out when standing out of the vehicle to take photos at family member must remain in the designated viewing area and strongly advised to wear masks remaining attendees must stay in the vehicle all time you guys have to remember but also it's the timeliness here we got to keep things going otherwise people getting in and out of the cars this could be for our adventure that's that's in part why we're doing that I am graduating senior must be wearing a mask and gloves when receiving the diploma after the senior finishes walking across the stage The Graduate and family member must re-enter the vehicle and immediately immediately reminder no public restrooms during the entirety of the event on caps to work in a closed campus all together the graduation ceremony enhancements we recognize there's no plan that can truly replace a traditional graduation and I know we've had a variety of these conversations back and forth having said that we hope the following enhancement enhancement considerations in the added to the Celebration to ensure each student is honored in a meeting away decorate vehicles with congratulatory images ribbons College military or career plans the graduates named anything else basically to help you guys as a graduating senior still special and then again join us on Facebook live with listed that and chat each graduate with a positive sheer mesh shower the first one CZ will they get this document home to go over with we will be sending that out of you join a little bit late yeah we're going to be sending this as soon as we're done with this I'll email all of you guys this information also your parents you guys will be getting a hard copy mailed to you as well as the next two are message bomber maybe want to jump in parents for prom or grad night we have been communicating with Disney and hopefully if something shows up will we will honor dad but at this point both of those items have been cancelled one last one you will address probably Bentley later that would be an individual thing yeah if we as much as we want to do that and we'll talk individually if you guys don't mind thank you yeah and if those are general questions to obviously when are individual stuff here good question go ahead so at this point we have I I can share with you you're well three of the four reader so would be Doctor Harris mr. shower and the forest is little bit in crush at this point so I'll keep you posted on that for a variety reason and then your speaker will be we share it with you but you are so we are you guys in congratulation that read getting to go through this because it has been raw deal just to go and let's celebrate so really let's celebrate this you guys go ahead okay so and moving on so some of this we've already covered but we need to we need to reiterate these things so bring your own PPE day and that would include facial coverings which are recommended to be worn at all times during again during the diploma Precinct undergraduate is required to wear both the mask and gloves please contact family members must remain in the vehicles one family member my exit to to take pictures as you across the stage again School building will remain closed this is not an outdoor ceremonies in the restrooms will be available and then please continue we must say this please continue to stay follow the stay-at-home and other restrictions from local orders before and after that the diploma presentation ceremony and please remember to follow all CDC and state guidelines on social distancing and practice good hygiene any individual high risk for severe illness how to find by the CDC should consider reviewing the commencement ceremony virtually and then again we shared where that can be done and please do not attend if you've had any contact with any covid-19 confirmed cases is it a refraining from food drink meet Lee prior to ceremony unless medically necessary necessary again I think referring to the lack of facilities during this time which is our last but there and the high school be open for its use of facilities at 10 everything we kind of covered there is for the diploma presentation ceremony following that so on the 12th we plan to release the virtual graduation which is essentially a video crew record a video which goes through and I think he has a really like it and I've been able to see a little bit of that beginning stages of it but it's a pre-recorded video of as much of a traditional ceremony as we can we can I get in times like this and it's all I guys have opportunity of you it at home with friends and family and and I am kind of celebrate yourselves we should be very neat and that's going to be on Big Bear High School's website you'll see it listed there again you'll be getting this information so you'll have it in hand and remember where to go there and you can see her screen. This is former exited the screen maybe she knew I was going to tell her I really hope you guys recognize and understand how much time a lot of people have put into this for sure but undoubtedly the person that just sat down in there mrs. for has put countless countless hours into trying to make this a special event for you guys understanding this is the most unique thing any of us have ever experienced in our lives and arguably ever will simply phenomenal the amount of time and effort so I hope in your own way you can find find a way to thank her and and the variety of people that have kind of put some time and effort in for sure use your senior advisors class officers in ESP as well so with that are there any other questions shower before okay I'm going to go into the map so you guys can kind of see exactly what we're planning on doing and just to let you know where we are if you get cut off at 40 minutes we've got 12 minutes left couple questions about when seniors all right I will answer that while he's looking I am planning Locker Scenic Pines and turn in your textbook we are working on a specific dates for our freshmen and seniors we will be a male the invites for those cleanup days but we will be having an organized tournament do I hire senior check off list you will get that by email and then you're going to catch you could come and that will be starting June 1st by the way I knew I can't take your books away too soon because you guys still have finals so check out we'll just check out this will start June 1st know what date and time that will be you're picking up their bags on our pick up for our senior pass and ask them to Annabelle honestly it's going to be email today we're mailing we already have the mailbox ready to go for your parents perfect and there were a couple questions just your seniors could join next year's prom well let's think about it do we do invites every year up to as long as you're under 21 and you're a mrs. Palmer on mr. her we've done Proms and homecomings like that for years so why would you not be able to come to that right so all I have to do is clear you as I have to clear you as a guest and I have to sign you off but we've been doing that a big bear high school for decades so I would see why not current senior and bring a jade they just need to come talk to me okay when you ask how are the groups going to be yasso first and you all may have some friends want to go to the lineup with we basically did R. Italians ASB officer class officers like we wouldn't have regular graduation did those guys it really is kind of a random selection some of it alphabetical on kind of split up so I can't guarantee you're going to be in the professional with your friends unfortunately I had my guess is that part of that question but if there was no clean way to do that and make sure you're all with your friends great question I think questions connect to mapa in the map so I need my shower can you reshare the host with me how do I calm my name Hugo Hubbard my name and click on more I got it text so we're going to go check out the map so you guys can kind of see what we're talking about hopefully Google Maps works here for us can y'all see the map I hope on Big Bear High School hopefully you can see my cursor as we this is well either come up maple for your assigned 15 minute. So again you're going to get an invitation that says you can come your your 15 minutes is 10 to 10:15 so anyway. You can plan on arriving at campus you'll either come up Maple or you'll come down this way Maple we're going to turn in as you are turning into deuce deuce drop off the right here can you get a see my cursor and you are going to drive right past the staff parking lot is right here and there is going to be some right at the corner or multiple someone's staff members checking you in you are going to get your placard with number you're going to tell him your name so that we can radio up and make sure we pull the right diploma Etc and this is also going to be our opportunity to filter out anyone else that tries to kind of get in the name of the professional that doesn't have a graduate in their vehicle those guys will be asked to turn down here and go in a parking lot down this way the rest of you the graduates will proceed up to the back of Campus the way staff members would yeah you're going to proceed this way all the way around here's the quad yeah you're going to proceed all the way around to the back by where the weight room and the auto classes are you will go drive past the portable portable d 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 and turn left right in front and go right in front of the tennis courts near the tennis courts we're going to proceed down here and write about these Gates there two gates here you're going to have staff members that double-check who are make sure we have the right people you're going to want to start getting your gloves he said that you're all ready to go again remember this has to be kind of a timely process cuz it's getting in and out of the car at cetera and you are gun does the car lever driving the vehicle is going to be asked to start turning alksne strip here which is the way to exit the actual stage and then you'll stop right here National stage is where this dirt area is with these Ross going to leave already move these rocks can I have the stage we're going to speakers the video for the live recording of the staff members up here you'll have a staff member reading your card as you go up on stage as you would in a additional ceremony so in that sense it'll be virtually the same and the cool and you're you you're one family member will be able to stand here and take picture of you and you also will have the opportunity then if you have other family members or friends that are over here in the staff parking lot they will be able to park here following social distance guidelines and CDC guidelines they will be able to park here and watch and also see you on Facebook live and see you live and you can wave to them at cetera then you'll get back in your vehicle and you'll be asked to then proceed down here and exit campus out Toronto Maple Lane anyone did you guys did I miss anything there so basically we will be entering here making a big loop the north of the school around bag and then doing the ceremony down on that Hill we're basically the buses Park will be above. We have another question mr. Benson it was about the senior video from graduation are senior class I believe mrs. Perkins in their class is putting one together that would be separate than the virtual graduation and the library Jason I don't know I'd have to check with Miss Perkins. That's normally done by your classifieds not by the administration I also have one more question that popped up here about are we able to stay in the student parking lot to watch our friends so we legally are required to tell you once you your ceremony on you need to exit campus if you turn to quickly turn around and drive back in and watch your friends that is totally up to you but yes you need to follow the guidelines are set forth by the county in terms of social distancing and we can watch but the camper San Bernardino department will be supervising that area because at that point you guys have to honor the help staying in your car we are going to make sure that that is supervised but we are not holding that area requirement so if your parents want to be near your grand chance you can't be in the procession once you be down there yes we're just not supervising that we are requiring you guys to be social distancing responsibly when are the question did I think we touched on this one but maybe we missed it can family in can we have family in the student parking lot in the car watch absolutely so yes I hope that you know that will I will be an opportunity for many of you mrs. Palmer Michelle our doctors the zucchini any last-minute comments before we I have not seen any other questions pop in here so quickly okay so the letter at the one that we just covered today will be emailed to you as soon as I'm done here I will email it to all of you it will a hard copy we will be mailed home and and you'll receive that within the next few days I would imagine June 3rd for two weeks from today we are going to we're going to have a place to pick up where you going to be able to get your cap and gown t-shirt mask and gloves for that ceremony a variety of things there so the June 3rd is going to be 2 to 6:00 to 6 can be assigned times for any of you and show up anywhere in that. And and will get that information to okay let's see I just want to say first off I am so sorry that we're not able to have a traditional graduation more than anything we want to honor you and I am really grateful did mrs. Fulmer really put the time and effort into makes it powerful and but I know you hug your friends I know you want to touch your caps I know that you want to do all of the things that you should be entitled to do so I hope that most of you come back for prom with your friends next year I hope you come to homecoming I hope we have a homecoming and where still on this isolation so that we can clap and cheer for you guys because I know that this has been really hard for you I mean you have for you sacrifice a lot in this in this so I want to thank you for just you know to try and do the best you can every day you guys are such a strong group and I am so sorry I'd love to hear you guys speak and and be playing instruments and doing wonderful things at graduation get such a special time for all of you so please know that we want to make this really special I know mrs. Fulmer and mr. Benson was a shower and mrs. Perkins I know all of them have worked so hard to try to make the special so please know you guys are so respected so honored and we were I'll be cheering for you that day so all wonderful things for all of you thank you dr. Suzuki on any more questions I have I have a couple little things here appears we're not it's not shutting us down which is good self thanks from people work on a video they're working on trying to get it for the June 3rd pick up but if not it would be shortly after that check one more okay the yearbooks mrs. phone are your books I can cover the year before your muscle being built in Tennessee and we were very much on time in fact we were early but the company was shut down so they now have a very small Gru trying to catch up and last week when I talk to a manager they were on May 4th yearbook ours were scheduled for June 4th so they are about a month behind so I will become texting you in the summer when the yearbooks get here perfect thank you one of the question is our opportunity for a regular graduation after its regulations allow I believe the answer is no on that one unfortunately so this will be our graduation in this selection that if you had tried out with me Adam has selected people to do a music piece and dr. Suzuki everything that we would do out in the field will be there it will be in your video including all seniors who have been here since kindergarten and first grade band even created the power slide on that so everything has been here you we will have that as part of your graduation mrs. Perkins and mrs. Sharma working on the video for turning the tassel and throwing the cat we all have that as well so every piece is going to be there it's just going to be virtual and again huge huge thanks to you Miss Palmer you've worked your tail one last thing I'm going to mention to you guys were still working on the card reading I gave you guys done on yesterday we have quite a few that have not got that needs to happen ASL email me with your 30 words that you like to say or have read otherwise when you come up on stage we will simply just say your name as you go up on stage and will at your name again as you leave but that's it and it make you want that that's okay but we have quite a few that if not from that in so please email me I'm as soon as you can if you want let him know that as well because we won. when are you and this is your time to be honored on stage okay so thank you everyone one of my miss you guys experiences yes I absolutely we miss you guys at but hopefully this was helpful give you guys some information and and if you have other questions that we didn't cover please feel free to shoot me an email and we'll get you that info out alright guys we will have a good rest of day will talk to you soon
