Principal's Message
Welcome parents, guardians and students!
We are looking forward to a wonderful School Year! We want to welcome each one of you to “Our House.” The Ohana (family) pride is a focus at BBHS. We encourage everyone to get involved; with our awesome students, outstanding staff, amazing parents and community members, we can make this a memorable year.
The new year brings with it many interesting and exciting events. We hope that you continue to support our many student activities and if you have the opportunity please join us. At BBHS, we are very proud of our students’ academic successes. This is evident by our commitment to our students. We will continue to offer rigorous courses of study as well as “built in” interventions to help students succeed. Our goal is to prepare all students to be college and career ready. We encourage you to visit our website @ bbhs.bearvalleyusd.org to see the many ways you and your students can get involved.
As always, it is very important that you as parents or guardians continue to reiterate how important it is that all students are in school every day. If possible, please schedule all appointments after the school day. We need your help in making sure the message is clear. If students are not in school, they will miss out on the learning process.
Bear Valley has identified the following Core Values:
- Students First
Students come first in everything we do.
- Mutual Trust
Mutual trust is essential in all our interactions.
- Dignity and Respect
We always treat each other with dignity and respect.
- Innovation and Continuous Learning
We embrace innovation and continuously strive to learn and improve.
- Growth Mindset and Grit
High expectations and perseverance are keys to success.
- Collaboration and Partnerships
Working together, in collaboration and partnership, we make a difference for students.
Our vision is that all students graduate educated, inspired, and prepared to pursue their dreams.
As always, if you have any questions, please contact us. Let’s have a wonderful and safe school year!
