BBHS Summer School 2026 Announcement! Apply TODAY!

Big Bear High School is pleased to announce we will be offering summer school this year. It will consist of 18 days beginning Monday, June 15th (no school on Friday, June 19th & Friday, July 3rd) through Friday, July 10th. There will be two sessions offered (each session equals 1 semester of a course, 5 credits) - Morning (7:30 am - 11:15 am) and Afternoon (11:45 am - 3:30 pm). Classes must be attended in person, on-campus at BBHS; there will be no distance learning during summer session.
*Breakfast and lunch will be provided. *Transportation is NOT provided
Classes offered:
All regular school rules apply during Summer School.
Attendance is mandatory. Due to the shortness of summer school, a student who misses more than two days of school for ANY reason will not receive credit and will be immediately dropped from class. Two tardies are equal to one absence.
Students are expected to arrive on time to begin classes, and parents are expected to pick up students promptly when done with their class(es). Likewise, students are not permitted to leave campus during breaks or lunch without permission from the Principal.

- Advancement in PE only
- Credit recovery for: English, Math, World History, US History, Gov/Econ, PE (online not available), & Physical/Life/Earth Sciences
- Current 8th graders will only be able to take PE advancement
